Welcome to the Department of Communication internship program! An internship is a great way to gain the necessary experience you’ll need to succeed in the professional world after college, and will help connect the material from your Communication classes in a real-world context.

The Department of Communication enables you to earn 1-6 credits for your internship, depending on the number of hours you work and the assignments you develop with your faculty sponsor.

**IMPORTANT**

Internship credits count as upper-division general elective credits,
NOT comm elective credits or upper-division comm credits
